So there's hope.

While the middle of the US is still bright red, the blue has taken over the east and west coast and is slowly invading. It was my first election and I was so happy to be a part of it. At 17 years old, I watched Bush get re-elected and wanted to leave this country. I watched my dad get crushed and my teachers at Burke bury their heads in shame. But this time the excitement and the movement of people in my age bracket (and outside of it) was overwhelming. While it is scary to me that there was not more agreement on the oppressing need for change, the outcome is what we need. For once I can say I am proud of the US; I can proudly step foot into France, and I'm really looking forward to getting the Bush out of the Whitehouse.

On a different note, my teammate Alex sent me this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lLYD_-A_X5E ...and it is wicked.
