Today was Burkie's first snow. He came barreling out the door as I was pulling my bike outside, only to come to a halting stop as his paws hit the foreign substance.

It's Wednesday, and every Wednesday is the Wednesday morning cross practice. Today was no aberration...

So the normal 80 crazies didn't show up, but 7 of us rallied.

Brother Dan was psyched to be out. He explained that he loves these cold and snowy days because there are few people out riding, meaning that he is getting more training in, or at least catching up on missed training.

We then made the mistake of riding on a dirt road which was a disgusting, sloppy, muddy mess.
